I have acquired a mobility scooter and a new vehicle to transport it and once the weather imporoves then I will be able to honestly start doing research and making suggestions for things for people to do. My BLOG is being updated and is a good place to start if you are planning a trip to Tasmania.

While the scooter will restrict my movements re- photography [I will not be able to run up banks to get a better angle on a shot] it will present me with a challenge where I will hopefully learn to use my camera in different ways AND if I really cannot overcome the problem I will just have to ask my son to take a shot or two. He is photographer in his own right and into doing wedding photography [just one of the arrows in his quiver]

Because of my Multiple Sclerosis I decided to set myself a challenge which was to raise $10,000 for MS Research. I am [@15/2/11 half way there]

2012 Calendars: Tasmanian Regional Calendars

After consulting with outlets who have been selling my calendars, I have decided to focus on the HUON VALLEY for 2012. So need to venture further south to acquire new photos....so watch this space. I have ordered a sample calendar and will shortly be visiting outlets in the Huon Valley to take orders.

Gillis Tasmania is a small business located in Tasmania serving the local tourist industry.

We take our own photographs having 1 full time photographer and 1 part time.

Our aim is to try and produce items other than the regular items out in the market place.

On offer are postcards, picture note cards, greetings cards with photographs and fridge magnets. Fridge magnets come in 2 sizes

Also you can find pens. There are T-shirts and hats. If you wish for a specific location on any item item please let us know and we will try very hard to help. We have found that at the moment we have to concentrate on the Southern Part of the State but would like very much to change that some time in the not to distant future.

Note pads and keyrings have now been added to our stock items and are proving very popular. Great to give the kids so they have something to do in the car.

We are quite happy to combine items eg; a pack containing - small fridge magnet, pen, post card and note pad. focusing on a specific location.

Postcards are sold either in a pack of 6 or individually.

If you cannot see a photo that you would like to have featured on an item, please let us know and we will try and fix that small problem
